Sorry about FLU, not to long after I got my second character rich I got locked in Alaska, which was novel for a while having never been there.

No one seems to have posted here, but remnants of the GOI/AFS community have decided to continue on.

Just received word that Archie has resurrected an Australian server, check his website: http://archysportal.com/

Balthazar, and a couple of others, have moved on to Discovery, so ask Balth about that, I'm sure he'll help you out.

I do plan on rebuilding the OSG/FU site at some point, as a general forum/gaming community. Probably mothballing the present site as an archive and starting from scratch, I'll do a mail-out to the community for ideas..

Anyway, wasn't too impressed with FLU, so when I get time you might catch me on Archy's.

TiMOiD, the owner of the Aussie Freelancers server has decided that the server will be put in to retirement as of the 1st of December 2008.

There is currently a poll up where players can vote on whether the forums stay or go here, please log in and have your vote.

GATHERING OF THE HEROES OF SIRIUS!

Mactan, the isolated Outcast stronghold in the Independant System of Magellan, was the staging post for our first ever victory against the Imperial Forces of BoB, and subsequently our numerous miraclous defences of our Holy Land of Cortez against our numerically superiour and highly skilled enemy.

Mactan also holds great importance to us as the home of the OSG Flagship, the Dromedary Class Freighter.

Most of you are aware that locations in modern Sirius draw upon the Old Earth. Mactan is famous as where Spanish Explorer Ferdinand Magellan was defeated and killed in Battle by the local Hero, Chief Lapulapu, in the first ever victory by the Filipinos against the Imperial Spanish Forces.

Mactan is also famous for it's guitars

We have decided to hold the first ever large scale conference of members of the Outcast Smugglers Guild, our long-time allies Freelancers United, and representatives from the governing factions of Sirius.

In the near future (4-5 weeks) we will be assembling in the key rail, trucking and drug trafficking hub of Albury, with transports currently being arranged. The Freeport of Albury welcomes pilots of all factions to attend, please check the Cardi Den for details. Presently expected to attend are:
